LUNCH AT THE DREAM - Established in 1952, The Dream Restaurant offers a range of food items and beverages. As a family-style restaurant, it provides chicken tenders, cheese sticks, quesadillas and potato skins.
HORSESHOW CURVE MUSEUM AND RIDE ON FUNICULAR - The Horseshoe Curve, an engineering marvel when built in the 1850s, was a major railroad breakthrough that allowed trains to cross the Allegheny Mountains and connect the east and west. It was constructed using manual labor, including picks, shovels, powder and mules. This center exhbits the building of the curve and some of its history. Ride a funicular to the top and watch trains go by on the world-famous Horseshoe Curve. Although we cannot guarantee trains while you are visiting, you can be almost certain to see one, two or even more traveling on the Curve. Gift shop includes trains, magazines, books, photos, shirts, hats, toys, etc.
SHOP ON YOUR OWN AT BEDFORD CANDIES AND OUR FAVORITE, UNKEL JOE'S WOODSHED, a large store filled with just about everything including a year-round Christmas section. |
